A UNIFIED APPROACH TO Traditional Chinese Medicine and Holistic Healing

Joining forces to enhance the lives of their patients, Cristina R. de La Mar and Phil Veneziano of Seven Point Wellness, a local husband and wife team of Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, recently expanded their Midtown Manhattan clinic with a second location in Millburn, NJ (adjacent to the Short Hills Surgery Center, in the Trader Joe’s complex). Their Millburn clinic offers a calm, peaceful atmosphere you feel when first walking through the door. With a balanced approach aimed at full spectrum health, their wide ranges of services are crafted specific to each individual’s needs.

“We offer comprehensive healthcare, fitness and preventative medicine – to keep you healthy, address everyday ailments and injuries, and tend to long standing, chronic conditions. We work one-on-one with each person, starting with a full health history, to develop a plan of treatment and follow-up. Our “whole person” approach moves beyond just treating illness – we strive to keep patients healthy – placing a strong emphasis on wellness and preventative care,” says de La Mar.

A former Executive Director and Consultant turned Doula, de La Mar oversees maternal and family support services within the clinic, with specializations in the care of Oncology and chronic illness patients. Her expertise extends into high-risk pregnancy, fertility and IVF support, to name just a few.

Veneziano is a former food and wine expert turned physical conditioning and injury management specialist. Veneziano treats everything from everyday stress to neurodegenerative illnesses like Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis. Certified in Zheng Gu Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage), Veneziano’s expertise in body mechanics is cherished by clients, novice athletes and professionals alike, working to restore balance and reduce or eliminate pain through gentle manipulations of the joints, muscles and tendons.

Licensed Acupuncturists in both NY and NJ, deLa Mar and Veneziano were credentialed by Mt. Sinai-Beth Israel hospital to provide acupuncture as a part of inpatient care. Veneziano’s work in pre and post rehabilitation translated into his work designing Acupuncture protocols for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation.

With professional connections throughout the community, de La Mar and Veneziano believe in comprehensive care and work closely with various Health Care Practitioners. “We are very much more interested in ensuring our patients get what they need, and often this is a multi-modal approach.”

Their work at Seven Point Wellness speaks for itself. By empowering each person to actively engage in their wellness plan, and a team approach to patient care, they work in tandem to best support each person to achieve a healthier and more balanced life.
